Dinosaur National Monument (Outside Vernal, Utah) is hosting a "Dark Skies Over Dinosaur" event from August 29 through September 1, 2019. SLAS volunteers with telescopes are requested. If you are interested in helping please reply to:

Include your name, contact info, dates of availability, equipment (NO power hookups at viewing areas) and if you'd like to have a tent or RV site reserved for you (NO showers or RV hookups, but DO have drinking water & flush toilets. The schedule of events is 2 to 4 PM solar viewing, 7 to 7:45 evening program, 9 to 10:30 PM stargazing, on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday; with solar viewing on Sunday from 10 am to noon, and 2 to 4 pm. |
