The Salt Lake Astronomical Society invites you to join us at a FREE public Star Party or Sun Party! Enjoy views of the Sun, Moon, Planets, Stars, Nebulae, and Galaxies through some of Utah’s largest telescopes. |

The Stansbury Park Observatory Complex (SPOC), is located in Stansbury, UT. Exit I-80 onto UT-36 South. Continue until you reach Stansbury Parkway. Turn west and proceed until you see signs for "Observatory" and "Plaza" in the center median. Park near the skateboard park. SPOC is just a short walk west from the parking lot, and is adjacent to the lake front.
Star Parties are from dusk until 9PM Apr & Oct,
10PM May & Sep, 11PM Jun-Aug.
Sun Parties are from 9AM – Noon.
Come a bit early to speak with one of our members about telescope setup and use. |
