2012 DA14 about 8 hours after closest approach. Images taken in Utah (IAU 718) and SE Arizona (IAU 290) at the same second show the parallax caused by the 800 km separation between the two sites. DSS image at the bottom provided for context and has the two positions marked with small circles.

Utah image taken with a SBIG ST-10XME on a C-14. Arizona image taken by Carl Hergenrother with a VATT4K on the 1.8-m Vatican Advanced Technology Telescope.

At the time the images were taken 2012 DA14 was about 210,000 km out.
