Minor Planet 2012 DA14 from 3 locations

2012 DA14 about 8 hours after closest approach. Images taken in Utah (IAU 718) and SE Arizona (IAU 290 & G95) within 5 seconds of each other show the parallax caused by the 800 km separation between the sites.

Utah (718) image taken by Patrick Wiggins with a SBIG ST-10XME on a C-14.

SE Arizona (290) image taken by Carl Hergenrother with a VATT4K on the 1.8-m Vatican Advanced Technology Telescope.

2nd SE Arizona (G95) image taken by Bruce Gary.

At the time the images were taken 2012 DA14 was about 210,000 km out.
