Comet 103P/Hartley 2 Animation

Paramount ME, C-14 @ f/5.5, ST-10XME, -10° & binned 3x3. 25-30" exposures at 5' intervals through clear filter. FOV ~18' x 26'. 2010 NOV 04 1050-1305 UT. Sequence ends 55 minutes before NASA's Deep Impact spacecraft flew within 700 km of the comet. I had to stop shooting at that time because the sky was getting too light. North is up, east to the left.
