Supernova 2011fe in M-101

Paramount ME, C-14 @ f/5.5, ST-10XME, -10° & binned 3x3, clear filter, 60" exposure. FOV of each image is ~18' x 26'. Prediscovery image on left was taken 2011 AUG 22. Image on the right taken 2011 AUG 30. The supernova was discovered by Peter Nugent in an image taken 2011 AUG 24 at 0359 UT.
