SLAS's own Ken "Red Baron" Warner took this photo of SPOC in October 2000. The new observatory was built to the left of the dome near the lower soccer field goal post (the goal post was later moved).

Only one of the two slide off roofs is shown.  The 40 cm (16") Ealing scope is shown in the foreground while an early (now abandoned) design of the 81 cm (32") scope is shown in the rear.  The center room serves as a control & storage room (its roof does not move).
